I'm a researcher working in biomedical sciences and human health with a special interest in infectious diseases including mycobacterial infections. Science and education to me are tools of empowerment by which one can make difference to millions of lives. I am keen to use my expertise to develop ways and means to make this world a better place.

Dr. Vikram Saini's area of interest is infectious disease biology, redox biology, and bioenergetics. Prior to Joining AIIMS, Dr. Saini was a faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and was trained at the Centre for Free Radical Biology at UAB. Dr. Saini has received multiple scholarships and awards from the Society of Redox Biology and Medicine for his expertise in redox and bioenergetics. One of the fundamental goals of the research is to translate laboratory findings into effective clinical solutions.
