OUR LABORATORY
We aim to translate laboratory findings into effective clinical solutions. Our laboratory focuses on the "One Health Paradigm" integrating human, animal, and environmental components to develop an improved understanding of human health. and intracellular gases in chronic infections. The major research interests of the laboratory are on Mycobacterial infections including co-morbidities such as HIV-TB and TB-Diabetes, Covid19, gaseous signaling, the nutritional basis of human health, biosafety, and biosecurity. The group uses molecular, biochemical, bioenergetics tools and animal models to study various aspects of human health.
